ONLINE AND PHONE PAYMENTS

At 4:30 p.m. CT, Friday, October 25, the court will stop taking credit card payments, including fax payments.
Monday, October 28, through Friday, November 1
The court is open, operating, and accepting paper filings.
The court will accept payments made by cash, paper check, cashier's check, or money order. Payment can be made at the clerk window or delivered by U.S. Mail. All payments will be processed with a manual receipt.
Monday, November 4
The Johnson County District Court clerk office, including the self-help center, is closed to the public.
Electronic filing and electronic payments are still turned off.
Method to pay through 11:59 p.m. CT, Thursday, October 24
Go to public.jococourts.org.
Type in your case number if available or your name (Criminal & Traffic Only).
Click on the Accounting Tab.
There will be a white box on the left side. Click on that box and enter your payment amount.
(If the case is a forgery, fraud, computer crimes, debt collection cases, identity theft, bad check, you will not be able to make a payment.)
Click Pay Amount.
You will be routed to another website to continue your payment information.
This website should be www.paylocalgov.com.
You will continue to enter your payment information.
There is a convenience fee of $4.95 for using this service.
If you want to make a phone payment, you need to call (888)877-0450.
Follow the prompts to reach a live operator.
You will need to provide a case number or your name.
The operator will process your payment.
We receive reports and process the payments from these vendors the next business day.
