COPIES OF MARRIAGE LICENSE

How to obtain your marriage certificate
|
Certified marriage certificates after May 1, 1913 are available only from the Office of Vital
Statistics https://www.kdheks.gov/vital/marriage_howto.html in Topeka.

To request marriage certificates you must:
- Be a person named on the certificate
- Be parents or immediate family names on the certificate
- Be a legal representative (information must be in writing)
- Be able to prove a direct interest (information must be in writing)

If you have been recently married, you should wait about 2 days after you have returned the completed marriage license before your request. This required form should have been provided to you when you received your marriage license.
