The Domestic unit of Court Services provides services and resources for families going through the separation / divorce process or in post-divorce matters in the Johnson County District Court. These services include:

• providing mediation and conciliation for separated or divorce parents
• preparing written family assessments (home studies) for the District Court

Once you have paid your fee an appointment will be scheduled with you by phone or letter. If you have not been contacted within two weeks of your order, please contact our office (913) 715-7400.

Regular office hours are from 8:00am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.. 

La unidad de asuntos familiares de la corte de Johnson County ayuda a las familias que se están divorciando o separando y que tienen conflictos después de divorciarse o separarse. Los servicios que esta unidad presta son: mediación, conciliación, evaluación familiar, programa de visitas supervisadas e intercambio supervisado de menores y clases para mejorar las relaciones familiares.
