CIVIL RULE NO. 25

Divorce and Paternity Cases Standard Temporary Orders
Temporary Orders are Not Necessary in Every Case

Restraining Orders

Parties requesting restraining orders shall use Domestic Form 1 unless a judge has specifically approved a different form. Parties may not submit a modified Domestic Form 1 to the signing judge without first explaining all proposed changes.

Child - Custody and Support

Parties requesting temporary child custody and support or support only or custody only shall use Domestic Forms 2, 3 or 4  unless a judge has specifically approved a different form. Parties may not submit substantive modifications of Domestic Forms, 2, 3 or 4 to the signing judge without first explaining all of the substantive changes.

Exclusive Possession of the Marital Residence

Ex parte orders immediately granting exclusive possession of a residence to a party generally will not be granted absent a showing of a risk of violence or other unusual circumstances.
