  • 1970-1977 - Part-time municipal court judge in Overland Park, Kansas

  • Cosmopolitan International - received award for distinguished service; served as National Judge Advocate.

  • Faculty, Kansas College for Advocacy, Tactics and Techniques Institute (3 years).
  • Served by appointment of the Kansas Supreme Court to numerous committees including time standards for delay reduction; sentencing guidelines; probation and parole standards; planning committee for judicial conferences in Kansas.
  • Served on A.B.A special commission for victims' rights, consisting of only two judges from each state.
  • Lectured at University of Kansas extension course regarding court unification and criminal procedure.
  • Presented UMKC School of Law lecture – CLE.
  • Lectured on numerous occasions to the Kansas Municipal Judges Association, the Kansas District Magistrates Association and various civic and community groups.
