Supervised Visitation is a Court-ordered 12 week program that provides a consistent opportunity
for children and their parent(s) to have safe and supportive contact in a structured setting. The program:
- ensures children’s safety, while also addressing the court’s need for objective information
- offers a supportive/educational component, required for both parents
- offers a conciliation component to create goals for future parenting plans, required for both parents
- provides trained volunteers for each family
- facilitates visits that focus on the best interests of the children; Volunteer Advocates observe parent-child
interactions and submit written reports to the Court
Eligibility:  A court order is required for families to participate in SVP. A copy of the Court
Order should be provided to Court Services before registration can be completed.
