Solid
Ground is a voluntary or court-ordered educational program for newly
separated or divorced, or never-married parents who are raising children in two
homes. It teaches:
- what further court involvement means for their families and the affect of the
adversarial process on their children.
- about alternatives to litigation, such as mediation, family counseling and
developing an effective parenting relationship.
- building blocks for an effective and respectful cooperative parenting
relationship.
Eligibility: The program is voluntary or court-ordered for any
parents under the jurisdiction of the Johnson County District Court.
Cost: $50 per parent which includes workbooks, cooperative parenting
information and planning materials. For cases not court ordered, payment
can be made prior to or at the first session. For court-ordered cases, the
fee must be paid to the District Court Trustee by check or money order.

66051, or you may make payment at the Trustee's Offices at the Courthouse in
Olathe.
Time & Location: Two sessions required, meets both 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings from 5:15
until 7:15pm at Johnson County Court Services, 18505 W. 119th St, Olathe.
