The Domestic unit of Court Services provides services and resources for families going through the divorce process or in post-divorce matters in the Johnson County District Court. These services include:

• providing mediation for separated or divorce parents
• preparing written child custody evaluations for the District Courts
• leading an court-ordered education program for high conflict families called "Higher Ground"
• leading an voluntary education program for parents raising children in two homes called "Solid Ground"
