Case Management Levels of Supervision

While in custody of the Juvenile Justice Authority, the juvenile will have an opportunity to display responsible, legal behavior. This will be the emphasis in the course of treatment received while in placement. Upon successful completion of the placement phase of the program, the juvenile will usually be reintegrated back to the home environment. Upon placement back at home, the juvenile will continue to be supervised by their assigned case manager. The juvenile will be monitored on a two level system.

Level one - the juvenile will meet with the assigned case manager at least once per week. These visits may occur in the office, home, school, or work environment. During this time, the case manager will continue monitoring the juvenile per the Case Supervision Plan. This Plan shall be developed with the juvenile, their guardian, and any treatment providers involved.

Level two - the juvenile and the case manager will have contact at a minimum of one time per month. This is a time for making preparations to release the juvenile from custody of the Juvenile Justice Authority. To accomplish this, all financial court obligations need to be completed.
