Adult House Arrest

The House Arrest Department is located within the Residential Center, and operates on a 24-hour basis. House Arrest involves a philosophy of strictly limiting an offender's movement within the community through electronic monitoring. Each assigned offender has electronic monitoring equipment attached to their telephone line, which verifies the offender is in their residence through photographic and voice response. In addition, each electronic monitoring unit contains a breathalyzer, allowing the House Arrest department to monitor the offender for consumption of alcohol while in their residence.

Our House Arrest program is accredited through the American Correctional Association (ACA).   Our program was initially accredited in 1997 and was the third program nationally to receive such accreditation.  We have since been re-accredited with a perfect score of 100 % compliance with ACA standards.
